Crowe Horwath LLP

I am a final-year Computer Science student at Bennett University. In my 7th semester, I was given the chance to work as a Data Service Intern in the Data Service team at the Crowe Horwath LLP India branch.

How did I get the Internship?

After all the three years of learning and experience, my goal was to be placed in an organization where l could contribute to the best of abilities towards the growth of the company. Prior to Crowe, there were quite a number of companies that came to our prestigious University to get the students of B Tech placed. My goal was only one that I want to get into a big MNC.

When I heard about Crowe being a part of the placement process of Bennett University, my aim was to put together all the hard work and learning through the years and give my best not only towards being selected but after being placed as well. Initially, the company informed the students about the entrance test and the fact that thousands of students will be participating in the same scared me a bit.

Finance and data analytics have always piqued my curiosity. I looked up the business on LinkedIn and also did some research on it on Google and different job-career websites. I was aware of what they did and the many fields in which they worked. My goals and potential career paths were compatible with the organization and work. I choose to apply.

After a resume shortlisting stage, the shortlisted candidates were required to take an online test that included questions about organizational fit and quantitative aptitude. The winning candidates were then chosen for a round of group discussions. Technical interviews were chosen for the candidates who performed well in this phase. Two Crowe employees conducted the 30- to 45-minute technical interview. A Senior Business Intelligence developer and a consultant conducted my interview. The interviewees who performed well were then invited to follow-up HR interviews, which included organizational fitment rounds. This thus sums up the hiring procedure for the internship.
